A City of Shapes

Being based in London I suppose it's inevitable that the city would eventually have an influence on my work.

Whilst my jewellery is very naturalistic, during my discovery of hand raising I've become more aware of the architectural forms I see.

London is a city of architectural extremes from the old to the ultra-modern, the iconic to the controversial.

Sometimes the shapes jump out a you from the skyline and other times the idea is hidden in the back streets.

Even out on the edges of London, Woolwich where my studio is based, inspiration can be seen everyday. Just from my window there's the dish and spires of the "Millenium Dome" and the Sydney Opera House-like Thames Barrier.

London is a city of shapes.
